NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Culver City Council will conduct a Public Hearing beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m. on January 25, 2016, in the City Council Chambers of the Culver City Hall. The purpose of the public hearing is to consider a resolution accepting an annexation proposal and calling an election for City voters to approve the annexation.
A. The property proposed for annexation is a 2.38 acre parcel owned by the Culver School District #4 on the south side of SW Iris Lane.
B. The property is currently outside of the City Urban Growth Boundary and the Urban Growth Boundary Amendment process will be completed over the next several months. The property must be included in the Urban Growth Boundary before it is eligible for annexation to the City of Culver.
C. If the resolution is passed and all County election requirements are met – the annexation will be on the May 17, 2016 ballot.
A copy of the application and all other information related to this proposal is available for review at no cost at the Culver City Hall, and copies of the application and all other information concerning the application, can be supplied at a reasonable cost. Persons wishing to provide copies of written testimony to the decisionmakers are advised, in order to prepare the necessary copies, such written testimony will be received until 5 p.m., January 22, 2016, at the Culver City Hall. Oral testimony will be received during the hearing.
