REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS 3113: METRO FOOD WASTE PROCESSING

The Property and Environmental Services Department of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting qualifications from entities engaged in the processing of commercial (large-scale) quantities of source-separated food waste to produce energy, fertilizer or an agricultural supplement. The purpose of the Request for Qualifications is to qualify firms and technologies that would be eligible to propose in a potential future procurement to process the region’s food waste.
Sealed submittals are due no later than 3:00 p.m. March 8, 2016, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, RFQu 3113.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
