NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:

DR2015-0130 LD2015-0030 TP2015-0018 SDM2015-0016 SDM2015-0017 (BRIDGE MEADOWS)

The applicant requests Design Review Type 2, Tree Plan Type 2, Replat for Lot Consolidation, and two Sidewalk Design Modifications, for a proposed 41 unit multifamily development, composed of six buildings: thirty-two apartments reserved for seniors and nine townhomes for families. The site is currently developed with one single family home and a parking lot, located at 13745 SW Allen Boulevard at the northwest corner of the intersection of SW Allen Boulevard and SW Menlo Drive, Tax Lots 900, 1000, 1100, 1200, 1500, and 1501 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S116CD. The site is within the R2 Residential Urban Medium Density (R2) zoning district and within the Central Beaverton Neighborhood Association Committee.

Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of Development Code of the Beaverton: 40.03 Facilities Review, 40.20.15.2.C Design Review (Type 2), 40.45.15.2.C Replat One, 40.90.15.2.C Tree Plan (Type 2), and 40.58.15.C Sidewalk Design Modification.

The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2016. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony.

Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:300 p.m. Wednesday, February 24, 2016, in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday, March 9, 2016, pursuant to Section 50.40.10. Copies of the staff report will be made available on the City’s website or may be purchased at the Planning Division Counter for a reasonable cost.
