PLANNING COMMISSION HEARING

The Jefferson County Planning Commission has scheduled a public hearing to consider an appeal of the Planning Director’s decision that approved an application for three accessory farm dwellings to house farm workers (file 15-FD-01) on property owned by Williams and Williams/Greg Williams. The property is located at the corner of Clark Drive and Quaale Rd in Madras and further described as Tax Lots 10-14-05- 900 and 1000.
The hearing will be held on February 25, 2016, at 5:30 P.M. at the Jefferson County Administrative Office Building located at 66 SE “D” Street, in Madras, Oregon.
Applicable criteria and standards for this application include: Jefferson County Zoning Ordinance Section 301.6(G), 301.7(B), 409 and 426.
A copy of the staff report, the application, all documents and evidence submitted by or on behalf of the applicant, and applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost, and copies will be provided at a reasonable cost.
The failure to raise an issue by the close of the record at or following the final evidentiary hearing, in person or by letter, or the failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the decision-maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals based on that issue.
