Bid Package Three (BP3) –
HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION/REMODEL
Bids Due 2:00 pm PST, February 23, 2016
Bids for the “CULVER SCHOOL DISTRICT – ADDITION & RENOVATION OF CULVER EXISTING K-12 SCHOOLS: BID PACKAGE THREE (BP3) – HIGH SCHOOL ADDITION/REMODEL” will be received by the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), CS Construction, 1506 NE 1st Street, Unit 1, Bend, Oregon 97701 by the time and date listed above. Questions regarding BP3 shall be in writing and directed to Eric Meeuwsen @ CS Construction by fax (541-617-9590) or e-mail (ericm@csconstruction.com).
The scope of work for this bid package includes, but is not limited to, site improvements, concrete, cmu veneer, structural framing, miscellaneous steel, flashing/sheetmetal, roofing, insulation, drywall, painting, specialties, HVAC, Plumbing and Electrical. CS Construction will be submitting lump sum bids for demolition/concrete, structural framing, finish carpentry and miscellaneous specialty work in accordance with bid documents.
Bid documents may be examined at the office of CS Construction in Bend, or obtained electronically by contacting Sara Mishalanie at CS Construction (sara@csconstruction.com) Bidders must ask specifically for documents titled “High School Addition/Remodel – Bid Package 3”.
A voluntary pre-bid meeting for BP3 will be held on Monday, February 15, 2015 at 10:00 am. This meeting will be held at the Culver High School. (4229 SW Iris Lane, Culver, OR 97734).
All bidders must clearly state in their bid, and identify associated cost on bid form, their ability to furnish payment and performance bonds covering the faithful performance of the subcontract and the payment for all obligations arising hereunder should such bonds be requested by CS Construction. NOTE: Non-ability to provide said bonds will not disqualify bidders from subcontracting with CS Construction to perform the work on this project but may be considered during the evaluation and selection process.
This project is a PREVAILING WAGE project in accordance with January 2015 Oregon Revised Statutes 279.348 thru 279.380. All bidders must be registered with the Construction Contractors Board and in compliance with all other licensing requirements at the time of submission of their bids.
CS Construction, on behalf of the Owner, reserves the right to: reject any and all bids; reject any bid not in compliance with the bidding procedures and requirements; reject for good cause any bid that would be in the public’s best interest to do so; and waive minor irregularities in any or all bids or the bidding procedures established in the bid documents.
There will be no public opening of any bids.
