NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:

LD2016-0003 (BULZA 2 LOT PARTITION)

The applicant requests Preliminary Partition approval for a proposed residential two lot partition. The site is currently developed with one single family home, and is located at 9975 SW Denney Road, northwest of the intersection of SW Denney Road and SW 100th Terrace, Tax Lot 00200 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S123BC. The site is within the R5 Residential Urban Standard Density (R7) zoning district and within the Denney / Whitford Raleigh West Neighborhood Association Committee.

Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of Development Code of the Beaverton: 40.03 Facilities Review, 40.45.15.4.C Preliminary Partition (Type 2).

The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, April 20, 2016. The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton. The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony.

Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, 2016, in order to be addressed in the staff report. Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

The Director is the decision-making authority for the above application and shall issue a written decision on the above development proposal on or around Wednesday, May 4, 2016, pursuant to Section 50.40.10. Copies of the staff report will be made available on the City’s website or may be purchased at the Planning Division Counter for a reasonable cost.
