NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:
SKYRMAN ARBORETUM

CENTRAL POINT, OR
Bids due 2:00pm, May 10, 2016
Sealed bids will be opened and read publicly at the City of Central Point, City Hall, 140 South Third Street, Central Point, 97502 at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 for the above referenced project. Bids must be submitted to Matt Samitore, Parks and Public Works Director, at the same address prior to 2:00 p.m. PDT on the above date. Subcontractor Disclosure forms must be submitted prior to 4:00 p.m. PDT on the same date.
Bidders must be pre-qualified in order to be eligible for award. Pre-qualification may be with the City of Central Point, City of Medford, or the Oregon Department of Transportation. If the bidder is disqualified in any of these jurisdictions, the bidder will be ineligible for this contract.
Award of contract will not be final until the later of: 1) three business days after the City of Central Point announces Notice of Intent to Award, or 2) the City of Central Point provides a written response to each timely protest, denying the protest and affirming the award.
On all projects, work performed by the Contractor’s own organization must be at least 30% of the awarded contract amount.
Plans and specifications will be available online only at www.centralpointoregon.gov or www.questcdn.com beginning April 15, 2016.
COST ESTIMATE: $175,000
Skyrman Arboretum is a park project: Work shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: Improvement of existing site to become the Skyrman Arboretum, traffic control, grading/drainage, concrete installation, AC paving, pathway construction, grading, landscaping and irrigation. This is a City and Grant funded project.
Work shall begin no earlier than June 30, 2016 and shall be completed by October 30, 2016. Technical questions should be directed to Jeff Ballard, P.E. at 541-665-5523 jballard@rh2.com. No bid
will be received or considered by the City of Central Point unless bidder signs the bid statement.
This project is public work subject to ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. This project is subject to Oregon prevailing wage rates.
The City of Central Point may reject any bid not in compliance with all public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all bids upon a finding by the City of Central
Point that it is in the public interest to do so.
