INVITATION TO BID
US POLYMER 7000 OR EQUIVALENT (FORMERLY REFERRED TO AS HYPER-ION)
FOR THE CITY’S NORTH AND SOUTH WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANTS
FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017
The City of Madras, located at 125 S.W. “E” Street, Madras, Oregon, 97741-1346, will be accepting sealed bids until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 2, 2016 for US Polymer 7000 or equivalent (formerly referred to as Hyper-Ion), for the City’s North and South Wastewater Treatment Plants for Fiscal Year 2016-2017.
The City Public Works Department is estimating the need for approximately 100 to 130 tons. A contract may be awarded during the June 14, 2016 or June 28, 2016 City Council meeting. All bids must be labeled AHyper-Ion Bid@.
Required bid forms are attached or can be obtained from the Madras City Hall upon request. Please call (541) 475-2344 and ask for the City Recorder.
The City of Madras will not accept facsimile or electronic bids. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No withdrawal of bids will be allowed after opening. If a contract is awarded, the City will award the contract to the bidder whose bid will best serve the interests of the contracting agency, taking into account price as well as considerations including, but not limited to, product quality, service, and past performance.
