The City of Lake Oswego acting as Managing Agency for the Lake Oswego-Tigard Water Partnership issues this Request for Proposals (RFP) from interested heavy civil contractors for removal and replacement of a reinforced concrete roof on an existing 4-million gallon concrete water storage reservoir located in the City of Lake Oswego within Clackamas County, Oregon. The budget for this project is $2 – $3 million.
The Work to be completed by the contractor that successfully completes this competitive proposal process and contracts with the Managing Agency includes but is not limited to the work as described below:
Demolition of an existing reinforced concrete roof and reinforced concrete supporting columns on an existing 4 MG AWWA D-110 style concrete water storage reservoir and construction of new reinforced concrete supporting columns and new rein forced concrete roof. The project scope also includes installation of ancillary items like roof access hatches, vents; modifications to existing steel items interior to the reservoir; replacement of approximately 2,400 lineal feet of elastomeric joint sealing material on the floor of the existing reservoir; salvage and reinstallation of existing level sensor, high water alarm, and intrusion alarms; and removal and replacement of drain rock around the perimeter of the reservoir.
Sealed Proposals must be received at the Issuing Office of the Managing Agency by 4:00 P.M. local time, August 3, 2016, and addressed to the attention of Joel B. Komarek, P.E., Project Director, City of Lake Oswego, at: 4260 Kenthorpe Way, West Linn, Oregon 97068. Note: Delivery must be made by Hand Delivery or Commercial Delivery Service only; US Postal Service does not deliver mail to the Issuing Office address.
