ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Bids for the “CHEHALEM AQUATIC AND FITNESS CENTER” will be received by the Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC), Triplett Wellman, Inc., PO BOX 160, 1717 Mount Jefferson AVE, Woodburn, OR 97071, phone 503-982-4188, fax 503-982-0390, by the time and date listed above. Faxed and emailed bids will be accepted. Bids shall remain in effect for thirty (30) days from the bid date. Questions regarding the bid shall be in writing and directed to Nick Wellman at Triplett Wellman, Inc. by email (nick@triplettwellman.com).
Generally, the scope of work includes the construction of a new 1-Story 40,000 SF (approx.) Aquatic Center (Natatorium) attached to the existing building. Bid Packages include all divisions of work – Earthwork through Electrical.
Triplett Wellman Inc., acting as the CM/GC for this project, intends to submit self-performed bids for the following scopes:
Division 2 Selective Demolition
Division 3 Concrete (excluding pool construction).
These bids will be turned in 1-hour earlier to the Chehalem Parks & Recreation Project Manager.
We encourage all bidders to familiarize themselves with the site conditions (especially Earthwork). A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the site on September 13, 2016 at 1:15 PM. Please meet out front of the existing pool located at 1802 Haworth AVE Newberg, OR.
Bid Documents may be examined at the offices of Triplett Wellman, Inc or via Triplett Wellman’s FTP Site and/or Sharefile. Please call for FTP username and password information. Documents will also be available at the following plan centers: Daily Journal of Commerce – Portland, Oregon Contractors Plan Center – Clackamas, and the Salem Contractors Exchange. If you would like the plans @ your local plan center, please have them contact Triplett Wellman, Inc.
This project is a PREVAILING WAGE Project. Please check the specifications for the appropriate BOLI information. All bidders must be registered with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board and have secured a public works bond.
Triplett Wellman, acting as the CM/GC contractor on behalf of the Chehalem Parks & Recreation District, reserves the right to reject any or all bids, reject any bid not in compliance with bid documents, reject for good cause any bid that would be in the public’s best interest to do so.
