REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: PROJECT

Central School District of Monmouth – Independence, Oregon is requesting proposals from qualified project managers or project management firms interested in providing services for school capital construction including pre-construction services, design phase services, bid and award phase administration and construction phase services. The District intends to use a qualifications based selection process as outlined in ORS 279C.110.
The District is in the process of planning for a $26 million bond on the November 8, 2016 ballot. The scope of this bond is based upon the District’s Long-Range Facilities Plan of 2012, with projects identified in April 2016, including adding air conditioning and a new wing to an historic elementary school, adding two competition-style gymnasiums, remodeling existing gyms and cafeterias at three buildings, and adding classrooms at the middle school. The District will use a Project Manager to coordinate with a selected Architectural firm.
Proposals shall be submitted to Cecelia Koontz, Business Manager, Central School District, 750 S Fifth St, Independence OR 97351, before 2:00 PM PT, October 31, 2016. Proposals will not be accepted after this hour and date.
RFP documents may be viewed at the Central School District Office, 750 S Fifth St, Independence OR 97351 (Monday thru Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.).
