Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following application is being provided:
Planned Unit Development (PUD) Text Amendment (TU2014-0004)
The City is proposing to amend the Planned Unit Development (PUD) requirements of the Development Code to improve the process and requirements for PUDs throughout the City and to incorporate provisions related to PUDs in the South Cooper Mountain Community Plan Area. The updates may affect all chapters of the Development Code. The proposal applies city wide.
Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076.  Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Planning Commission, which will review the proposal in accordance with the approval criteria contained in Development Code Section 40.85.15.1.C (Text Amendment).
The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above application on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, beginning at 6:30 p.m.  The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, First Floor, Beaverton Building.  Pursuant to Section 50.88 of the Beaverton Development Code, written comments or exhibits submitted prior to the hearing to be submitted by staff at the hearing must be received by the City Recorder no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day of the scheduled hearing.  All submittals that are more than two (2) letter size pages must include no fewer than ten (10) complete copies of the materials being submitted.

Hocken Bridge and Street Improvements
The City of Beaverton is seeking approval of Design Review Two, Public Transportation Facility, and Sidewalk Design Modification applications for the replacement of Hocken Bridge over Beaverton Creek and associated street improvements. The applicant proposes to fill the parking lot at 3725 SW Hocken Avenue to match the new street grade. Hocken Bridge and culvert replacement, addition of sidewalks and bike lanes.  The project area will affect a portion of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) designated floodplain and floodway of Beaverton Creek. The subject site is located at SW Hocken Avenue between the Light Rail Tracks and SW Hall Boulevard and 3725 SW Hocken Avenue. More specifically located on Tax Lot 700 of Washington County Assessors Map 1S109DC.
