Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District
As required by ORS 198.540, notice is given that the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District will hold public hearings on November 4 and December 9, 2013, at 7:00 PM, at the HMT Recreation Complex, Dryland Meeting Room, 15707 SW Walker Road, Beaverton.
The Board of Directors will consider an ordinance amending District general regulations relating to conduct on District property. The topic included in the ordinance is a smoking ban on all THPRD properties.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:
(Farmington Road Improvements)
Washington County has filed a Public Transportation Facility application requesting approval to improve Farmington Road. Improvements include roadway widening to five lanes (two travel lanes in each direction and center turn lane), continuous bicycle facilities, street lighting, realignment of 141st and 142nd avenues, additional turn lanes at Murray Boulevard, and associated right-of-way modifications. In order to accommodate the proposed improvements, trees within the public right of way are proposed for removal. Also, a Sidewalk Design Modification application has been filed requesting approval to eliminate the planter strip from the typical cross section and provide a curb tight sidewalk with street tree wells. Full plans are available at City Hall. The project is generally located along Farmington Road from west of Murray Boulevard to east of Hocken Avenue.
To be addressed in the staff report, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 18, 2013. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Development Services Division, 2nd Floor, Beaverton City Hall, 4755 SW Griffith Drive.
The Beaverton Facilities Review Committee will hold a technical meeting with the applicant on the above development application on Wednesday, December 18, 2013. The Facilities Review Committee will forward a recommendation to the Director on the above application based on its conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Development Code Section 40.03 Facilities Review, 126.96.36.199.C.1-7 Public Transportation Facility, and 40.58.15.C.1-6 Sidewalk Design Modification.
Pursuant to Section 50.40.10, the Director shall issue a written decision on the above development application on or about Wednesday, January 1, 2014.

The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider an application for the vacation of the western most portion of SW Meade Street, west of Burbank Avenue.
