Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:

NIKE BEAVERTON CREEKSIDE CAMPUS EXTERIORS PHASES TWO AND THREE

The applicant requests Design Review, Loading Determination, Sidewalk Design Modification, and Tree Plan Two approval for proposed site modifications to off-street loading, off-street parking, landscaping, and the SW 154th Terrace right-of-way.  The site is developed with 13 separate office-industrial buildings, modifications of which are the subject of separate land use applications.   The site is addressed as 2555, 2645, 2715, 2745, 2755, 2795, 2815, 2901, 3003, 3101, and 3203 SW 153rd Drive; 2875 and 3005 SW 154th Terrace; 15350, 15400, and 15550 15560 SW Millikan Way; 15345 and 15425 SW Beaverton Creek Court and is comprised of Tax Lots 00100, 00300 and 00400 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S1 08AC; and Tax Lots 00100, 00200, 00300, 00700, 01200, 01300, and 01400 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S1 08DB.

Any decision on the above development proposal shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton: 40.03 Facilities Review, 40.20.15.2.C Design Review Two (Type 2), 40.50.15.1.C Loading Determination (Type 1), 40.58.15.C Sidewalk Design Modification (Type 1), and 40.90.15.2.C Tree Plan Two  (Type 2).

The Facilities Review Committee Meeting with the applicant will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015.  The Facilities Review Committee is not a decision-making body but advises the Director on a project’s conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code of the City of Beaverton.  The Facilities Review Committee meeting is open to the public, but is not intended for public testimony.

Written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 29, 2015, in order to be addressed in the staff report.  Failure to raise an issue or failure to provide statements or evidence with sufficient specificity to afford the decision-making authority an opportunity to respond to such issue, may preclude appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals on that issue.  Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Current Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076.  Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, the Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way, between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays.

Verizon Wireless Tower at 16405 SW Walker Rd

The applicant requests approval of a Wireless Facility 3 application to construct a new 70-foot steel monopole with antennas at the top extending up to 74-feet, with associated ground equipment within a secure landscaped and fenced area at the north side of Waterhouse RV and Boat Storage facility. The maximum height for wireless communication facilities in the R4 zone is eighty feet. No tree removal is proposed in conjunction with the modifications described above.
The subject site is located at 16405 SW Walker Road. The site is described as Tax Lot 6800 on Washington County Tax Assessor’s Map 1N1-31DD. The total site occupies approximately 4.99 acres.
The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above development application on Wednesday July 22, 2015, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way. The Beaverton Facilities Review Committee will hold a technical meeting with the applicant on the above development applications on July 1, 2015.
