Valley Catholic High School Science Building
The applicant seeks approval of a Major Modification of Conditional Use and Design Review Two application, to remove four existing portable classrooms and replace with a permanent two-story, 12,850 square foot science building that will be comprised of five classrooms, with no increase in projected student capacity. The project also includes new outdoor plazas, pedestrian connections, and a 160 square foot detached greenhouse, removal and replacement of seven trees and minor reconfiguration of the existing parking lot with no change in net available parking. The subject property is part of the Sisters of St. Mary of Oregon campus. The 35.91 acre site can also be identified as 4275 SW 148th Ave, tax lot 200 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S1-1700.
The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above development application on Wednesday June 10, 2015, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in City Council Chambers, 1st Floor, Beaverton Building/City Hall, 12725 SW Millikan Way. The Beaverton Facilities Review Committee will hold a technical meeting with the applicant on the above development applications on May 20 2015. The Facilities Review Committee will forward a recommendation to the Planning Commission on the above application based on its conformity to the technical criteria specified in Section 40.03 of the Development Code.
To be addressed in the staff report and decision, written comments on the above development proposal are to be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday May 20 2015. Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:

The applicant requests Preliminary Partition, Minor Adjustment, Sidewalk Design Modification, and Flexible Setback approval for a proposed residential two lot partition, with reduced rear yard setback for one lot, and adjustments to lot width of both lots.  The site is currently developed with one single family home, and is located at 5725 SW Lombard Avenue at the southwest corner of the intersection of SW Lombard Avenue and SW 12th Street, Tax Lot 12100 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S115CC.  The site is within the R7 Residential Urban Standard Density (R7) zoning district and within the Vose Neighborhood Association Committee.
