NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

The Budget Committee for King City, Washington County, State of Oregon, will hold a Public Meeting to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017. The Meeting will be held on May 17th, 2016 at 9:30 AM at the City Hall of King City located at 15300 S.W. 115th Avenue, King City, Oregon. The purpose of this meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget.

A copy of this document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 2nd, 2016 at the King City office, between the hours of Sam and 12 pm and 1 pm till 5pm Monday through Friday.

This is a public meeting where deliberation of the budget committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the budget committee.

A council meeting on a proposed supplemental budget for City of King City, Washington County, State of Oregon, for the fiscal year July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2016, will be held at 15300 SW 116th Avenue, King City, OR 97224. The meeting will take place on the 20th day of April, 2016 at the regular council meeting at 7:00 p.m.
There are a total of $176,932.00 changes in both revenues and expenditures for General Fund, Street Fund and Transportation Development Tax Fund.

Applications are being accepted to fill a vacancy on the King City Council. The term expires 12/31/16.

Applications will be accepted for thirty days after the first publication in a newspaper of general circulation in King City.

Applicant shall have resided in King City during the six (6) months immediately before being elected or appointed to the office.

The Council will offer an interview to each applicant. Interviews shall take place no sooner than five days after the filing deadline of April, 6 2016.

The public hearing on this matter will be conducted in accordance with the rules contained in the King City Community Development Code, which is available at City Hall.

The application is available for inspection at no cost, or a copy can be obtained for 25 cents per page.
