COMMENT DEADLINE:    On Wednesday, February 17th, 2010 the Oregon City City Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. in the Commission Chambers at City Hall, 625 Center Street, Oregon City 97045 on the following Development Agreement. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The Clackamas County Planning Commission will hold a public hearing beginning at 6:30 p.m., Monday, February 8, 2010, in the Auditorium of the Development Services Building, 150 Beavercreek Road, Oregon City, Oregon to consider File No. ZDO-221, revisions to the Clackamas County Zoning and Development Ordinance (ZDO).
The Board of County Commissioners will consider the Planning Commission’s recommendations on the proposed amendments, beginning at 9:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at the Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, 2051 Kaen Rd., Oregon City. All interested citizens are invited to attend the hearings. An agenda will be provided at the public hearings, as there may be other items considered in addition to File No. ZDO-221.
The proposed amendments are to Sections 806 and 822 of the ZDO. The amendments to ZDO Section 806 would allow events in conjunction with a historic landmark in the EFU, TBR, and AG/F zoning districts. Other amendments will be considered to the conditional standards in Section 806.03 including, but not limited to, the use of temporary structures, number of events and noise standards. The proposed amendments to Section 822 would modify certain development standards for all levels of home occupations. The proposed amendments would require accessory space used for the home occupation to be separated from personal space; exempt vehicles with business logos from constituting “external evidence” of the home occupation and make other housekeeping revisions to the development standards. Other conforming amendments to the ZDO will be considered based on the amendments to Sections 806 and 822.

NOTICE OF APPLICATION

Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:
HO 2009-0002 — Firewood Sales at 13550 SW 22nd Street
Home Occupation 2 application to sell firewood from the applicant’s single family residence garage.
The applicant, Jon Gosch, is seeking approval of a Home Occupation 2 application to permit firewood sales to be conducted out of the applicant’s home.  The applicant proposes to cut and sell firewood from his garage and will have no more than 8 clients per day by scheduled appointment only.  Appointments will be staggered so that arrival and departure times do not overlap.  All customer parking is proposed to be provided within the existing driveway.  No exterior alterations to the residence or signage are proposed with the exception of a two (2) square foot nameplate at the front door, as allowed by the Beaverton Development Code. The property is located at 13550 SW 22nd St. in Beaverton.  The map and tax lot number for this property is 1S121BD06100.
