NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 6:30 PM on WEDNESDAY, January 30, 2013, the Planning Commission of the City of Beaverton will initially consider the application described below. The Planning Commission will meet at the Beaverton City Hall located at 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton, Oregon, in the Forrest C. Soth Council Chambers.
TA 2012-0007 USE RESTRICTION FOR VEHICLE SALES OR LEASE IN C-WS ZONE TEXT AMENDMENT The text amendment adds a Use Restriction to Chapter 20, Section 20.20.25 of the Code.  In the City’s C-WS zone (Washington Square Regional Center – Commercial District) the use category Vehicle Sales or Lease is prohibited.  The proposal would allow Vehicle Sales or Lease under certain circumstances.
Approval criteria for the Text Amendment includes Section  You may review a copy of the staff report and all other documents and evidence submitted in relation to these applications at the City’s Community Development Department Public Counter, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall, on or after January 23, 2013 (7 days prior to the Planning Commission hearing date).  Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The staff report is also available on the City’s public web site at
Failure to raise an issue prior to or at the Planning Commission hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue.
