REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: CLINE FALLS DAM REMOVAL
DESCHUTES COUNTY, OR
The Central Oregon Irrigation District (COID) is requesting proposals to design and permit the Cline Falls Dam Removal (Project) in Deschutes County, Oregon. Project elements include site survey, sediment evaluation, dam removal design, permit documents, permit preparation, development of bid documents, oversight of a construction contractor for removal of the dam, and restoration of soils and vegetation in the project area. The Project will be managed by COID working in collaboration with the Upper Deschutes Watershed Council (UDWC) and local, state, and federal agency partners. This request for proposals (RFP) is being used to select an engineering consultant to lead the design, permitting, and construction oversight for the Project. A construction contractor to remove the dam will be selected at a later date and awarded a separate contract to remove the dam after plans and specifications have been developed.
