PUBLIC HEARING ITEM: Revised Notice
The following will be considered by the Tigard Planning Commission at a Public Hearing on Monday October 3, 2016 at 7:00 PM and by the Tigard City Council at a Public Hearing on Tuesday October 25, 2016 at 7:30 PM at the Tigard Civic Center – Town Hall, 13125 SW Hall Blvd., Tigard, Oregon.
Public oral or written testimony is invited. The public hearing on this matter will be held under Title 18 and rules of procedure adopted by the Council and available at City Hall or the rules of procedure set forth in Section 18.390.060.E. The Planning Commission’s review is for the purpose of making a recommendation to the City Council on the request. The Council will then hold a public hearing on the request prior to making a decision, tentatively scheduled for October 25, 2016.

DEVELOPMENT CODE AMENDMENT
(DCA) 2016-00001
– CEMETERY SETBACKS –
REQUEST: The City of Tigard Community Development Code, Section 18.330.050.B.10.b.i applies specifically to cemeteries and requires a 15-foot setback for graves from all property lines. The Crescent Grove Cemetery has made application to the City to approve a text amendment to the Community Development Code to remove this setback requirement. LOCATION: Citywide. ZONES: R-3.5, R-4.5, Low-Density Residential; R-7, Medium-Density Residential; and I-L, Light Industrial. APPLICABLE REVIEW CRITERIA: Community Development Code Chapters 18.330, 18.380, and 18.390; Comprehensive Plan Goals 1, 2; and Statewide Planning Goals 1, 2.
