REQUEST FOR BIDS: OREGON CONVENTION CENTER/MERC ON-CALL EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE, SERVICE AND REPAIR RFB 3263

The Oregon Convention Center and MERC, services of Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed bids for On Call Equipment Maintenance, Service and Repair at all MERC Venues – OCC, Portland Expo Center, and Portland’5 Centers for the Arts.
Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., January 17, 2017, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Jon Deveaux, Procurement Analyst, RFB 3263.
The contract contemplated consists of on-call and preventative labor, maintenance, and repair services for all equipment including but not limited to JLG, Bobcat, Caterpillar, Hyster, Genie, Skyjack, and Utilev. This includes equipment that is under warranty and equipment maintenance and repair that is not under warranty. Services will range from repair, preventative maintenance, and service work as requested by MERC staff. Contractor will be responsible for documenting Unit ID, serial number, year, manufacture, model, current meter and break out parts, labor and hours on each invoice with a description of the work completed. Contractor must respond the same day to requests for any service, and also communicate the timeframe needed to complete these services to MERC staff requesting said service.

Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
