NOTICE OF APPLICATION
Pursuant to Section 50.40.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development application is being provided:
DR 2010-0114 / TP 2010-0004
(Camille Park Modifications)
The applicant, Otak, Inc, is seeking Design Review approval to redevelop a portion of Camille Park. The redevelopment involves the removal of the basketball court and the construction of a new picnic shelter, pedestrian bridge, stormwater swale, screened portable restrooms and a boardwalk over the wetlands. Renovation of the existing play equipment is also proposed. Removal of approximately 28% of the DBH (Diameter at Breast Height) of surveyed non-exempt trees within Significant Grove 10 (#G10) is proposed to improve the habitat for the Oregon White Oak. The property is approximately 12.18 acres and located at the West end of SW Marjorie Lane/ SW 105th Avenue.
To be addressed in the staff report, written comments on the above development proposal shall be submitted no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 12, 2011. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 2nd Floor, Beaverton City Hall, 4755 SW Griffith Drive.
The decision-making authority for the above application is the Director. Any decision on the above development application shall be based on the Approval Criteria contained in Sections 40.20.15.1.C and 40.90.15.2.C of the Beaverton Development Code.
Pursuant to Section 50.40.10, the Director shall issue a written decision on the above development application on or around Wednesday, January 23, 2011. Copies of the staff report will be made on the City’s website or may be purchased at the Planning Division Counter for a reasonable cost.
