NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOREST GROVE PLANNING COMMISSION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Forest Grove Planning Commission on Monday, September 18, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. or thereafter, will meet at the Forest Grove Community Auditorium, 1915 Main Street, to review the following proposal: PROPOSAL: Update of the Pacific University Master Plan Applicant: Pacific University File Number: 311-17-000018-PLNG Criteria: An application to update the Pacific University Master Plan shall address all of the relevant elements of the submittal requirements as outlined in Development Code 10.4.115. The update shall be reviewed for consistency with the review criteria and shall be approved if findings are made that the criteria of DC 10.4.120 are satisfied. Background: The Master Plan was originally adopted in 2006. The update would include additional lands beyond the current boundary, including new areas abutting Lincoln Park, 23rd Avenue between Sunset Drive and Cedar Street, and Cedar Street between 21st and 23rd avenues. The plan describes allowable uses, buffers and setbacks, building heights, parking and circulation, landscaping, and building design in specific areas identified in the plan as Opportunity Sites. The Master Plan Update and Parking Analysis may be viewed on the City of Forest Grove Community Development webpage at http://www.forestgrove-or.gov/ planning At this time and place, all persons will be given reasonable opportunity to give testimony about the proposal responding to the review criteria. If an issue is not raised in the hearing (by person or by letter) or if the issue is not explained in sufficient detail to allow the Planning Commission to respond to the issue, then that issue cannot be used for an appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals. If additional documents or evidence are provided in support of an application, any party shall be entitled to a continuance of the hearing. Unless there is a continuance, if a participant so requests before the conclusion of the initial evidentiary hearing, the record shall remain open for at least seven days after the hearing.
