The regular monthly meeting of the Board of Directors for Clackamas Fire District #1 will be held on Monday, May 20, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.  Agenda items include requesting board approval for: Proclamation 13-02 – Designating the Week of June 16-22, 2013 as the International Fire/EMS Safety and Health Week and Resolution 13-02 – Ratifying a Program for Self Fire Inspection for Clackamas Fire District #1.  This meeting will be followed by an Executive Session regarding labor negotiations pursuant to ORS 192.660(2)(d).  These meetings will be held at the Mt. Scott Fire Station located at 9339 SE Causey Avenue, Happy Valley.

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

A public meeting of the Budget Committee of Clackamas Fire District # 1, Clackamas, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014 will be held at 9339 SE Causey Avenue, Happy Valley, OR 97086.  The meeting will take place on the 9th day of May 2013 at 6:00 p.m.  The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and the budget document of the district.  A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after May 2nd, 2013 at 11300 SE Fuller Road, Milwaukie, Oregon 97222-1124, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. or on the District’s website at: www.clackamasfire.com.   This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place.  Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee.

Scott Fire Station located at 9339 SE Causey Avenue, Happy Valley.

Notice of Budget Committee Position Opening

Budget Committee Position Opening:

Clackamas Fire District #1 is seeking applicants to fill a three-year term position on its budget committee.   The budget committee serves as citizen oversight on the District’s budget.   Applicants must be a resident or property owner within the Districts geographical boundaries.  An application may be obtained on the District’s website: www.clackamasfire.com or at our administrative offices.  Applications will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on April 25th, 2013.  The Board of Directors will appoint a citizen member to the budget committee at the board meeting on Monday, June 17th, 2013.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Clackamas Fire District #1 will hold a joint public hearing of its Board of Directors and its Public Contract Review Board regarding adoption of Public Contracting Rules during its regular board meeting on the 25 day of February, 2013, at 7:00 p.m.  The meeting will be held at the Mt. Scott Fire Station located at 9339 SE Causey Avenue, Happy Valley, Oregon.  The proposed Resolution opts the District out of the Attorney General Model Rules of Public Contracting and adopts alternative public contracting rules and exemptions.

The public hearing will be held for the purpose of taking comments on the District’s draft findings supporting the exemption of certain classes of special procurements and public improvement contracts from competitive bidding requirements.
