FLOODWAY ALTERATION
The City of Beaverton intends to issue permits for the proposed Menlo Drive Nature in the Neighborhood Creekside Enhancement project.  The project is located within the FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) designated 100-year floodplain and affects the 100-year floodway of Erickson Creek, a major tributary to Beaverton Creek.  The work anticipated consists of removing over 10,000 cubic yards of soil providing additional flood storage adjacent to Erickson Creek near the southeast corner of the intersection of Farmington Road and Menlo Drive, north of Fairmont Drive.
