NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
BEFORE THE CITY COUNCIL
REPEALING FOOTHILLS URBAN RENEWAL PLAN AND DISTRICT

The Lake Oswego City Council will meet at the above date, time and location to conduct a public hearing and consider adoption of the following ordinance:
Ordinance No. 2613: AN ORDINANCE OF THE LAKE OSWEGO CITY COUNCIL REPEALING ORDINANCE 2601; REPEALING THE FOOTHILLS URBAN RENEWAL PLAN; AND REPEALING THE FOOTHILLS URBAN RENEWAL AREA
The Foothills Urban Renewal Area generally lies between State Street, the Willamette River, Tryon Creek and the Oswego Pointe Condominiums. The area comprises approximately 58 acres. It was established through the approval of the Foothills Urban Renewal Plan, which was implemented through the adoption of Ordinance 2601 on December 18, 2012. Proposed Ordinance 2613 repeals Ordinance 2601, thereby repealing the urban renewal plan and area.

The City Council may make a decision following the hearing.
Time Limits on Testimony:
The purpose of time limits on testimony is to provide all interested persons with an adequate opportunity to present and respond to testimony while at the same time ensuring that the hearing can be conducted in an efficient and expeditious manner. The following time limits on testimony shall be observed, but may be changed by the Council:
Testimony will be taken in the following order: in support of proposed Ordinance 2613, in opposition to the Ordinance, neutral.
• 10 minutes for a representative of a recognized neighborhood association, homeowner association, or government agency, or other incorporated public interest organization;
• 5 minutes for other persons.
