The purpose of this ITB is to establish a Contract for restoration and abatement of Building 53 South at the Umatilla Army Depot in Hermiston, Oregon for the benefit of Oregon Military Department (“OMD”). The Work contemplated under this Contract includes all labor, materials, transportation, equipment and services for, and incidental to, the completion of all construction Work in connection with the project described in the Contract Documents.
The work in general consists of the abatement of identified hazardous materials, selective demolition, interior renovations and repairs necessary to restore Building 53 South at the Umatilla Army Depot to pre-flood conditions that resulted from intrusive water damage caused by burst fire suppression piping.
MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE:
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on September 2, 2015 at 10:30 AM (PT), located at Umatilla Army Depot, 78798 Ordnance Road, Hermiston, Oregon 97838. BIDDERS OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE. BIDS WILL ONLY BE EVALUATED FROM BIDDERS OR THEIR REPRESENTATIVE WHO REGISTERED AND ATTENDED THE MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE, AND ALL OTHER BIDS WILL BE CONSIDERED NON-RESPONSIVE.

The Oregon Military Department (OMD) is preparing to dispose of the Tigard Armory  (40,043 sq. ft) and Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) (4,379 sq. ft.) located on 6.62 acres of land at 6700 SW Oak Street, Tigard, OR (Tax Map 1S 1 36AA, Lot 201).  The Armory was constructed in 1971 and the FMS was constructed 1970.  Minimum cash asking price for the property is $1,900,000.   Interest parties wanting to purchase the property may submit their proposal to the address below no later than 4:00 o’clock on March 1, 2013, with a check for10% amount of the proposal.  OMD reserves the right to accept or reject any bid proposal.  For more information, make public comments or to submit a bid proposal, please contact or write to: OMD, Arthur Arroyo, Real Property Manager, 1776 Militia Way, Salem, Oregon 97309, (503) 584-3494.
