NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at 6:30 PM on TUESDAY, February 5, 2013 the City Council of the City of Beaverton will initially consider adoption of ordinances for the applications below.  The City Council will meet at the Beaverton City Hall located at 4755 SW Griffith Drive, Beaverton, Oregon, in the Council Chambers.
ANX2013-0001, ARIE D HOLDING LLC EXPEDITED ANNEXATION
An ordinance annexing one parcel located at 14100 SW Butner Road near the northwest corner of the Murray Boulevard and Walker Road intersection, adding the property to the Five Oaks/Triple Creek Neighborhood Association Committee: Expedited Annexation 2013-0001.
CPA2013-0001/ZMA2013-0001, 14100 SW BUTNER ROAD ARIE D HOLDING LLC ANNEXATION RELATED LAND USE MAP AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS. This proposal is to amend the City Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map and Zoning Map to designate one parcel that is being concurrently annexed into the City of Beaverton with City land use and zoning designation.  The property is currently designated Washington County R-5 land use and zoning.  This designation will change to the most similar zoning designation, as required by the Urban Planning Area Agreement, which is Urban Standard Density (R-7) Zoning and Neighborhood Residential Standard Density (NR-SD) Land Use Designation. The property is located on the east side of SW Butner Road, just north of the intersection at SW Murray Boulevard and SW Walker Road. The property is addressed as 14100 SW Butner Road and is identified as tax lot 1600 on Washington County’s Tax Assessors tax map 1S104CB.
Specific criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment are contained in Section 1.5.2 of the Comprehensive Plan.  The specific criteria for the Zoning Map Amendment are contained in Development Code Section 40.97.15.3.C.  You may review a copy of each staff report and all other documents and evidence submitted in relation to these applications at the City’s Community & Economic Development Department Public Counter, located on the 2nd floor of City Hall, on or after January 29, 2013, (7 days prior to the City Council meeting date).  Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays.  The staff report will also be available on the City’s public web site at www.beavertonoregon.gov/DevelopmentProjects.  Failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue.
