REQUEST FOR BIDS: METRO ALUMINUM BOARDING DOCKS – FABRICATE & DELIVER RFB 3243 PORTLAND, OR Bids due November 3, 2016 @ 2:00 pm Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby requesting sealed bids for Fabrication and Delivery of Aluminum Boarding Docks at Metro’s Sauvie Island Boat Ramp. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., November 3, 2016, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, RFB 3243. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary to fabricate, assemble and furnish aluminum boarding docks, transition plates, pile pockets and all other miscellaneous dock items as per the RFB. Work includes storage of all docks at the point of manufacture, or Metro approved alternate location, through the end of January 2017. Work also includes the delivery and off-loading of the dock system at the site of installation. Work, however, does not include the installation of the dock system.
