REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS: CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT SERVICES OREOGN CITY, OR Proposals due: December 7, 2016 @ 2:00 pm Notice is hereby given that Oregon City School District is seeking proposals from qualified construction management firms interested in providing services to assist staff in implementing construction projects that could be proposed to be funded by a $120 million bond levy that may be voted on May 16, 2017. The District is in the process of planning for a future bond. The scope of this bond has not yet been finalized but may include major remodels of both middle schools which include demolition, renovation, new construction and site improvements. Additionally, work at multiple elementary schools to address needed site improvements, security and technology upgrades, minimal lighting renovation, required roof and mechanical repairs and capacity issues. The District is seeking to establish a pool of construction managers to assist staff in the planning, design, bidding and construction supervision of the aforementioned projects. Sealed proposals will be submitted to Wes Rogers, Director of Operations, Oregon City School District, Administration Office, 1417 12th Street, Oregon City, OR 97045, before 2:00 p.m. PST, on December 7, 2014. Late proposals will not be accepted. A MANDATORY Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. PDT on November 16, 2016 at the Oregon City School District Administrative located at 1417 12th Street, Oregon City, OR 97045. All proposals shall be submitted as set forth in Section I – Instructions to Proposers. Proposers are responsible for submitting proposals in the manner, format, and to the delivery point required by the District. Proposals will be submitted and will be inspected for basic documents submitted. No reading of the proposals will be conducted or announcement of specifics will be discussed. No Proposal may be withdrawn after the hour set for the opening thereof until the elapse of sixty (60) days from the date and time set for opening. Attention is called to the provisions of the Oregon Statutes, Chapter 279. The bidder must indicate if bidder is a resident bidder as defined in ORS 279A.120 and if the contractor and subcontractors are licensed under ORS 701.005 – 701.055. Oregon City School District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject for good cause any or all proposals upon a finding of the District if it is in the public interest to do so.
