NOTICE OF LEGISLATIVE PUBLIC HEARING BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION: FROG POND WEST MASTER PLAN Planning Commission: On Wednesday, March 8, 2017, beginning at 6:00 p.m., the Wilsonville Planning Commission will hold a public hearing regarding adoption of the Frog Pond Master Plan and implementing amendments to the Wilsonville Comprehensive Plan and Development Code (Case File # LP17-0001). The Planning Commission will consider whether to recommend adoption of the amendment to the City Council. No additional mailed notice will be sent to you unless you either: Submit testimony or sign in at the Planning Commission hearing, or Submit a request, in writing or by telephone, to the Plan- ning Division. City Council: The Wilsonville City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the proposal on Monday, April 17, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. after which it may make the final decision. The hearings will take place at Wilsonville City Hall, 29799 SW Town Center Loop East, Wilsonville, Oregon. A complete copy of the relevant file information, including the staff report, findings, and recommendations, will be available for viewing seven days prior to each public hearing at Wilsonville City Hall, at the Wilsonville Public Library and on the City’s website. Summary of Proposal: The subject property is the approximately 180-acre area located generally west of Stafford Road and north of Boeckman Road within the Urban Growth Boundary. Building from the November 2015 adopted Frog Pond Area Plan, the Frog Pond West Master Plan and implementing amendments will establish the vision and implementation for the Frog Pond West Neighborhood. The Plan will implement a Residential Neighborhood comprehensive plan map designation and create a zoning designation for the area. In addition the Plan identifies land uses, infrastructure funding, comprehensive plan and development code language, community design, a multi-modal transportation network, parks and open space, street trees, signage, gateways and implementation. The purpose of the Plan is to: Establish the overall vision for the neighborhood; illustrate and define neighborhood specific plans and requirements for land use, streets, pedestrian connections, bike routes, parks, open spaces and natural resource areas; describe and illustrate the City’s expectations for high-quality architectural and community design; serve as the guide for coordinating individual developments and public realm improvements into a cohesive whole; and provide implementation strategies for land use regulation and infrastructure funding. How to Comment: Oral or written testimony may be presented at the public hearing. Written comment on the proposal to be submitted into the public hearing record is welcome prior to the public hearings.
