Design Consultant Services CFU

REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS: DESIGN CONSULTANT SERVICES CFU ALBANY, OR Qualifications due: April 4, 2017 @ 4:00 pm Sealed Qualifications Responses will be received at the District Office, located at 718 7th Avenue SW Albany, Oregon 97321 until 4:00PM, April 4, 2017. Faxed responses will not be accepted. The District is seeking to select Architects, Engineers and Consultants to provide Design Services for approximately 200 Critical Facility Upgrade (CFUs) Projects to be designed and constructed between 2017 and 2021: Projects Description Architectural Improvements and finishes ADA Improvements Envelope Improvements Site Improvements Hazardous Materials Abatement Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing Fire, Life & Safety Projects Structural improvements Building Commission Roofing Replacements Technology improvements A comprehensive list of proposed projects is included in Attachment A The District anticipates selecting more than one firm to provide design services. The total value of the CFUs program is anticipated to be approximately $59 million, to be funded by a bond election in May 2017. Selected firms will be expected to start immediately after passage of the bond and receipt of a notice to proceed (NTP). Design disciplines being sought are Architects, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Plumbing Engineers, Civil Engineers, Roofing Consultants, Hazardous Material Consultants, and Building Commissioning Agents Contracts will be issued for a Two-year period. The district, at its discretion, may extend the contracts annually for up to 3 additional years. Architectural Firms that submitted on the recent previous 4 GAPS School projects may at their choice, submit a new Qualifications document or submit a letter stating that their previous qualifications document is to be utilized as their submission. The District reserves the right to reject any qualifications response not in compliance with all prescribed public procedures and requirements and to waive informalities in this qualifications response process.
