INVITATION TO BID: WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS – PHASE 2 – DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM – 2017 ISLAND CITY, OR Bids due: May 18, 2017 @ 2:00 pm City of Island City, Oregon 10605 Island Avenue Island City, Oregon 97850 The City of Island City, Oregon, invites Bids for the construction of Water System Improvements – Phase 2 – Distribution System – 2017. The Work for this Project involves, but is not limited to, water distribution system improvements including the installation of approximately 9,200 feet of 12-, 10-, 8-, and 6-inch pipe; installation of a 12-inch pipe beneath a state highway bridge crossing the Grande Ronde River; and all other Work required to complete the water distribution system improvements as shown on the Drawings and specified herein. The Work represents a revised portion of the Project previously bid in June 2016. The Contract Time for this Project is 120 calendar days. Sealed Bids for the described Project will be received by the City of Island City, at City Hall at 10605 Island Avenue, Island City, Oregon 97850, until 2:00 p.m., local time, May 18, 2017, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Contract is subject to the applicable provisions of ORS 279C.800 through ORS 279C.870, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law. This Project is being funded in part through USDA Rural Development.
