CITY OF FLORENCE FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES FOR THE NEW PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY Bids due: June 7, 2017 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION FOR BIDS Notice is hereby given that sealed bids for FURNITURE & ACCESSORIES FOR THE NEW PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY will be accepted by the City of Florence, attention Megan Messmer, City Projects Manager, 250 Highway 101, Florence, Oregon 97439. Acceptance of bids will be officially closed at 2:00 PM Pacific Time on June 7, 2017. The City of Florence Is seeking a qualified supplier to furnish and install/set up the complete furnishings for the new public works facility – not limited to new desks, chairs, conference room equipment / furniture, work stations, locker room, and lunch room including washer/dryer and stove in accordance to the specifications (bid package) provided by City- estimated at $70,000 to $90,000. The quotation/bid will include delivery to the new public works facility – furnished and installed/set up for a complete project in accordance to the specifications. Delivery after receipt of order is very important. The City will reserve the right to determine acceptable delivery. Unacceptable delivery will be reason to reject a proposed bid at no cost to the City. Please contact Megan Messmer at 541-997-3437 at Florence City Hall for a copy of the bid package. The package will be mailed to you on receipt of your check in the amount of $35.00. The check will be to: City of Florence located at 250 Highway 101; Florence, Oregon 97439 – Attention: Megan Messmer. The quotation/bid will be on the suppliers own format – the suppliers complete proposal/bid-package with brochures, data and pricing may be hand-carried or mailed to Megan Messmer at 250 Highway 101, Florence, Oregon 97439 prior to the designated bid time. Please be sure to include the signed form furnished in the bid package. Award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder that meets or exceeds the specifications. The City may reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and City requirements, and may, for good cause, reject any biid upon a finding by the City of Florence that it is in the public interest to do so in accordance with ORS 279C.395.
