Structured Cabling: Category 6 And Fiber Optic Upgrades

METRO STRUCTURED CABLING: CATEGORY 6 AND FIBER OPTIC UPGRADES Proposals due: November 29, 2017 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS RFP 3422 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting proposals for Structured Cabling: Category 6 and Fiber Optic Upgrades for the Information Services Department. Metro is currently conducting a telephone system replacement project and new Point of Sale network installation. As part of those projects, existing low voltage cabling and fiber optic infrastructure need to be upgraded. Metro will award contracts to up to 3 (three) contractors to help complete the initial project effort, and the contracts will include future cabling and fiber projects. More details about this process are in the RFP. Pre-Proposal Conference: A voluntary pre-proposal conference will be held at Metro Regional Center, 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, 97232 on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:30 pm, in Room 270. Interested proposers and subcontractors are encouraged to attend the conference in order to gain information about the RFP requirements. Sealed submissions are due no later than 2:00 p.m. November 29, 2017 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Karen Slusarenko, Procurement Analyst, RFP 3422.
