PROPOSED TIMELINE AND TARGET DATES Bid Submittal deadline December 12, 2017, 2:00 PM, local time Projected project start date January 2, 2018 Project completion date June 30, 2018 DESCRIPTION : The City of Medford Parks, Recreation and Facilities Department is seeking qualified contractors to bid on installation of thirty-nine (39) concrete bench slabs through eighteen (18) City of Medford Park areas. Contractor will be responsible to provide all labor, tools and materials needed to successfully complete installation. (See scope of work for specific details.) The City also reserves the right to waive any informality in any bid and to delete certain items listed in the bid as set forth therein. All Respondents must state at the appropriate place in the Bid documents, whether or not the Respondent is a resident as defined in ORS 279A.120. A percentage increase, as determined by the Department of General Services, will be added to non-resident’s Bids for the purpose of deter mining the lowest qualified Respondent. Bidders on this work must comply with Federal Construction Labor Standards and with all other applicable federal governmental requirements including, but not limited to equal employment opportunity actions as specified. This project does not contain asbestos abatement work and the contractor or (any) subcontractor will not be required to be licensed by the Department of Environmental Quality (ORS 468A.720). This project is a prevailing wage project, BOLI prevailing wages are required. Submission of a bid constitutes agreement by the bidder stating the provisions of ORS. 279C.800 will be met. Sealed electronic bids may be submitted through BidSync, email and facsimile bids are not acceptable. Paper Sealed Bids received after the time established for receiving bids will not be considered.
