CITY OF BEND 14TH STREET RECONSTRUCTION – PHASE 1 CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT Proposals due: January 4, 2018 @ 2:00 pm REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS SOLICITATION NO. 18-3211 The City of Bend requests proposals from qualified consultants for professional engineering construction management services for the 14th Street Reconstruction – Phase 1 project. The City intends to reconstruct 14th Street both from NW Newport Avenue to NW Galveston Avenue, excluding the roundabouts, and from NW Albany Avenue to SW Simpson Avenue, including reconstruction of the Simpson/Century roundabout. The City seeks to hire a qualified consultant to perform construction management services for this proposed construction contract. Services required include public outreach and public information management, construction management and supplemental inspection services. A mandatory pre-submittal meeting will be held at City Hall Council Chambers, 710 NW Wall Street, Bend OR on: December 19, 2017, 10:00 AM. Proposals will only be accepted from attendees of this meeting. Sealed proposals must be submitted by January 4, 2017, 2:00 PM, at City Hall, 710 NW Wall Street, 2nd Floor, Bend, Oregon, 97703, Attn: Gwen Chapman, Purchasing Manager. Proposals will not be accepted after deadline. The outside of the package containing the proposal shall identify the firm and the project: 14th Street Reconstruction Phase 1 Construction Management – Solicitation No. 18-3211. Solicitation packets may be obtained from Premier Builders Exchange at www.premierbx.com (click on Public Works) or 1902 NE 4th Street, Bend, Oregon. Proposers must register with Premier Builders Exchange as a document holder to receive notice of addenda. This can be done on the Premier Builders Exchange website or by phone at 541-389-0123. Proposers are responsible for checking the website for the issuance of any addenda prior to submitting a proposal. Proposal results are available from Premier Builders Exchange. The City of Bend reserves the right to: 1) modify, revise or withdraw this request for proposal, 2) reject any or all proposal not in compliance with public solicitation procedures and requirements, 3) select consultant on the basis of the proposals or to conduct interviews with the highest qualified proposers after scoring, 4) seek clarifications of any or all proposals, and 5) to select the proposal which appears to be in the best interest of the City.
