NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING City of Happy Valley Planning Commission & City Council Notice is hereby given that the City of Happy Valley Planning Commission & City Council will hold public hearings on the following dates regarding a proposed Road Renaming application. Date & Time: Planning Commission, January 9, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. City Council, February 6, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. Hearings Location: City Hall, 16000 SE Misty Dr. Happy Valley, OR 97086 Proposal: Application to rename an existing road located within the Scouters Meadow subdivision from Tranquility Street to Tranquil Street. Location: West of 172nd Avenue, approximately 500 feet south of Hemrich Road. Applicant: City of Happy Valley Applicable Criteria: Applicable Oregon Revised Statutes and Sections of the City of Happy Valley Municipal Code. Written testimony may be submitted in advance or in person at the hearings. If you should have any written testimony regarding the proposed Road Renaming application, please submit for inclusion in the Planning Commission packet by Friday December 29, 2017. Testimony should pertain to the applicable criteria. A recommendation by the Planning Commission and a final decision by the City Council will be made in accordance with said criteria. The failure of the applicant to raise constitutional or other issues relating to proposed amendments without sufficient specificity to allow the hearing bodies an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes an action for damages in circuit court.
