METRO EXPO CENTER – HALL D & E CONNECTOR IMPROVEMENTS Bids due: February 21, 2018 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3455 Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is hereby inviting sealed bids to replace the roof at the Metro Regional Center. Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m., February 21, 2018 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3455. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. Contractor is to provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to upgrade the area outside the connector between Expo’s two largest halls, Hall D & Hall E. The area contains a Stormwater Greenwall that attracts interest and enhances the visitor experience. This area is adjacent to the West Delta Restaurant. Expanding physical and visual access to the connector will animate the exterior courtyard space and provide visible and approachable outdoor dining & gathering activities. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on February 1, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hall D Lobby entrance of the Portland Expo Center, located at 2060 N Marine Dr, Portland, OR 97217. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from ALL COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference. Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/ Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
