NOTICE OF APPLICATION Pursuant to Section 50.45.4 of the Beaverton Development Code, public notice of the following development applications is being provided: Chick-fil-A Restaurant with Drive-Through – Cedar Hills Blvd. – (CU2018-0003, DR2017-0138, LD2018-0004, TP2017-0016) The applicant, Chick-fil-A, seeks approval of a Conditional Use Permit for Extended Hours of Operation; approval of a Design Review Two application, for the construction of a new approximately 4,815 square foot restaurant with drive-through; approval of a Tree Plan Two application for the removal of approximately 38 landscape trees in order to accommodate the proposed project; and a Replat One application in order to consolidate two legal lots of record into one legal lot. The subject property is approximately 1.39 acres, and located at 2970 SW Cedar Hills Blvd., and is described as Tax Lots 1700 and 2400 of Washington County Tax Assessor’s Map 1S109AD. The site is within the Commercial – Community Service (CS) zoning district and within the Central Beaverton Neighborhood Association Committee boundary. Mailed written comments shall be sent to the Planning Division, PO Box 4755, Beaverton, OR 97076. Written comments submitted in person shall be delivered to the Planning Division, 4th Floor, Beaverton Building, 12725 SW Millikan Way. To be made a part of the staff report, correspondence needs to be received by Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Please reference the Case File Number and Project Name in your written comments. The decision-making authority for the above applications is the Planning Commission, which will review the proposal in accordance with the Approval Criteria contained in the following sections of the Beaverton Development Code: New Conditional Use, 40.15.15.3, Design Review Two 40.20.15.2; Land Division – Replat One, 40.45.15.2, and Tree Plan Two, 40.90.15.2. The Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on the above application on Wednesday, May 23, 2018, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the City Council Chambers, First Floor, Beaverton Building. Pursuant to Section 50.88 of the Beaverton Development Code, written comments or exhibits submitted prior to the hearing to be submitted by staff at the hearing must be received by the City Recorder no later than 4:00 p.m. on the day of the scheduled hearing. All submittals that are more than two (2) letter size pages must include no fewer than ten (10) complete copies of the materials being submitted. Copies of the staff report will be available for inspection at the Planning Division Planning Counter or may be purchased at reasonable cost or are available for on-line viewing at www.beavertonoregon.gov.
