NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL MEETING: On TUESDAY, June 5, 2018, at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of The Beaverton Building, located at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon, the City Council of the City of Beaverton will consider an ordinance approving the following proposed amendments. CPA2018-0003 / ZMA2018-0002 16650 SW SPELLMAN DRIVE LAND USE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS. This proposal amends the City Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map and Zoning Map by applying City land use and zoning designations to one parcel and adjacent right of way that are being annexed into the City of Beaverton. The property address is 16650 SW Spellman Drive, also identified as Tax Lot 3000 of Washington County Assessor’s Map 1S130DD. The property is currently designated Washington County R5 land use and zoning. The proposal will change the designations to Beaverton Urban Standard Density (R7) Zoning and Neighborhood Residential – Standard Density (NR-SD) Land Use Designation. Section 1.5.2 of the Comprehensive Plan contains the approval criteria for Comprehensive Plan Map Amendments. Development Code Section 40.97.15.3.C identifies the approval criteria for Non-Discretionary Annexation Related Zoning Map Amendments. REPORTS. You may review copies of the staff report and all other documents and evidence submitted in relation to these applications at the City’s Community Development Department public counter, located on the 4th floor of City Hall, on May 29, 2018. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays. The staff report will also be available on the City’s website at: http://apps.beavertonoregon.gov/DevelopmentProjects/. Failure to raise an issue prior to or at the City Council meeting, in person or by letter, or failure to provide statements or evidence sufficient to afford the City Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to a court of competent jurisdiction on that issue.
