PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the City of Estacada Planning Commission will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, August 16, 2018, beginning at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council Chambers, Estacada, Oregon, to consider the following applications: Conditional Use #2018-02-CU. The applicant, City of Estacada, is requesting a conditional use permit according to Section 16.16.030(E) of the Estacada Municipal Code, to construct a (second) 500,000-gallon water storage reservoir for property described as 34E, 21, tax lot 701 – 784 NE Edgehill Drive. The subject property is zoned R-1 (low density residential). This conditional use is subject to section 16.16, 16.76 & 16.88 of the Estacada Municipal Code. Ordinance #2018-003. An ordinance adopting a City of Estacada Active Transportation Plan, as well as active transportation land use planning policies and land use rules needed to implement those policies, with corresponding amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Transportation System Plan, and Development Code Chapters 16.16, 16.26, 16.28, 16.36, 16.74, 16.76, 16.128, and 16.132; with the adoption of a new Development Code Chapter 16.118 related to pedestrians, connectivity, and transit stops; and with updates to the Introduction chapter, chapter numbering format, and chapter titles of the Comprehensive Plan. Upon recommendation by the Planning Commission, a final public hearing will be held by the City Council on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council chambers. Subdivision Application #2018-01-SUB. The applicant, Park Development, Inc., is requesting a 20-lot light industrial subdivision to be created from approximately 48.5 acres of property described as 34E, 17, tax lots 1200 & 1202 and 34E, 18, tax lot 100, which are zoned M-1 (Light Industrial). The application is subject to the criteria in Chapters 16.36, 16.104-16.116 of the Estacada City Code. Upon recommendation by the Planning Commission, a final public hearing will be held by the City Council on Monday, September 10, 2018, at 7:00 pm in the Estacada City Council chambers. Anyone wishing to present written testimony on these proposed actions may do so in writing prior to or at the Public Hearing. Testimony and evidence must be directed toward the applicable approval criteria or other criteria, which a person believes to apply to the decision. Failure to raise an issue in a hearing, in person or by letter, or failure to provide sufficient specificity to afford the decision maker an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal of the Commission’s decision based upon that issue. The final decision of the Estacada Planning Commission may be appealed to the City Council within 15 days of the Commission’s final decision date. A copy of the application and applicable criteria is available for inspection at no cost in the City Recorder’s Office at City Hall. Copies of the document will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the City’s staff report will be available for inspection at no cost at least seven days prior to the Public Hearing.
