METRO DRAGON BOAT & ORBIT CAFS MECHANICAL REPLACEMENT AND KITCHEN EXPANSION FOR THE OREGON CONVENTION CENTER Bids due: March 19, 2019 @ 2:00 pm INVITATION TO BID ITB 3633 Metro, acting by and through the appointed Metropolitan Exposition Recreation Commission (MERC), is inviting bids for Dragon Boat & Orbit Cafes Mechanical Replacement and Kitchen Expansion for the Oregon Convention Center (OCC). Sealed bids are due no later than 2:00 p.m. March 19, 2019 in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Julie Hoffman, Procurement Analyst, ITB 3633. Bids will be opened publicly at that time. Metro is seeking a qualified contractor is to provide all equipment, labor and materials necessary to perform the scope of work as defined in the ITB The project consists of installing water source heat pumps to cool equipment and personnel in the kitchens. The heat pumps are subscribed to the process water loop and will be controlled by the building Alerton system. A voluntary Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential prime and sub-contractors on Thursday February 28, 2019, at 8:00 a.m. at the Holladay Lobby of the Oregon Convention Center, located at the corner of NE Holladay & MLK Jr Blvd, Portland OR 97232. Per Metro’s Subcontractor Equity Program, Contractors that submit a bid for this project must solicit a sub-bid from all COBID certified businesses who attend the pre-bid conference.
