NOTICE OF HEARING CITY OF TUALATIN, OREGON NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the City of Tualatin City Council at 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2020, at the Juanita Pohl Center on 8513 SW Tualatin Road, to consider: Annexation (ANN) Application ANN19-0002 to annex approximately 36.62 acres of land, owned by Autumn Sunrise LLC and represented by Stafford Development Company, into the Tualatin city limits. The land is within Tualatin’s Urban Planning Area and designated Medium-Low Density Residential (RML) and Neighborhood Commercial (CN) zones. The application also includes 1.38 acres of right-of-way including the eastern portion of SW Boones Ferry Road to centerline, bound by the current Tualatin boundary line to the north and the SW Greenhill Lane intersection to the south, into the Tualatin city limits. No development is proposed or being reviewed through this application. The annexation concerns the following properties: 23620 and 23740 SW Boones Ferry Road 9185, 9335, and 9415 SW Greenhill Lane Tax Map: 2S135D; Lots: 400, 401, 500, 501, 600, 800 & 900 Right-of-Way: Eastern portion of SW Boones Ferry Road to centerline, adjacent to Tax Lots 400, 401, 500 and bound by the current City limits to the north and SW Greenhill Lane to the south. To approve the annexation, Council must find the proposal meets the criteria of Tualatin Development Code 33.010, consistent with Metro Code 3.09 and Oregon law. You are invited to attend and participate in the public hearing. Failure to raise an issue at the hearing or in writing or to provide sufficient specificity to afford the Council an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes appeal to the Land Use Board of Appeals (LUBA). Copies of the application, all documents and evidence relied upon by the applicant and applicable criteria are available for inspection at no cost and will be provided at reasonable cost. A copy of the staff report will be available at no cost prior to the hearing. Individuals wishing to comment may do so in writing to the Planning Division prior to the hearing or present written or verbal testimony to the City Council at the hearing. Hearings begin with a staff presentation, followed by testimony by proponents, testimony by opponents, and rebuttal. The time of individual testimony may be limited.
