NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETINGS Three public meetings of the Budget Committee of the Tualatin Hills Park & Recreation District, Washington County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, will be held in the months of April 2020 and May 2020. In response to the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the District facilities are currently closed to the public and meetings are being held electronically. The first meeting will be held April 21, 2020, at 6:00 pm. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. The second meeting is tentatively scheduled on April 22, 2020, at 6:00 pm and will take place on an as needed basis. The third meeting will be held on May 21, 2020, at 6:00 pm for approval of the budget. The meetings will be available for viewing via the District’s scheduled YouTube channel: April 21, 2020 – https://youtu.be/ IrO2k ISEC4; April 22, 2020 (Tentative) – https://youtu.be/SJKhCcG1vzY; May 21, 2020 – https://youtu.be/MmFObMrUL-Y. The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the District website at www.thprd.org no later than 5 business days following the meeting. Public comment will be taken in written and phone in format. Written comments received by 5 pm on April 20, 2020 will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on April 21, 2020. Comments by phone will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meetings on April 21, 2020 and May 21, 2020. Comments, both written and phone-in, will be subject to a three-minute limit per community member. Public comment for the April 21, 2020 meeting must be scheduled no later than 5 pm on April 20, 2020. Public comment for the May 21, 2020 meeting must be scheduled no later than 5 pm on May 20, 2020.
