NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING

NOTICE OF BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING A public meeting of the Budget Committee of the Sauvie Island Fire District, Multnomah County 30J, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021, will be held virtually. The meeting will take place on the 9th day of April 2020 at 7:00 p.m. In response to the current health emergency resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, the District facilities are currently closed to the public and meetings are being held electronically. The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comment from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be inspected or obtained on or after April 9, 2020 by contacting info@sifire.org or (503) 621-1242 and leaving message to arrange viewing or inspection. This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee during the public comment portion of the meeting. This notice can be viewed at www.sifire.org The meetings will be available for listening via District’s Zoho online meeting page. A link will be posted on the District’s web page. The meetings will also be recorded and available via a link on the District website at www.sifire.org no later than 5 business days following the meeting. Public comment will be taken in written and phone in format. Written comments received by 5 pm on April 8, 2020 will be read during the public comment section of the meeting on April 9, 2020. Comments by phone will be taken on a scheduled basis during the public comment section of the meeting on April 9, 2020. Public comment must be scheduled no later than 5 pm on April 8, 2020.
