REQUEST FOR BIDS: METRO STEP ONE OF A TWO-STEP
RIVER ISLAND NORTH RESTORATION
PROJECT CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
Bids due: February 10, 2016 @ 2:00 pm
Metro, a metropolitan service district organized under the laws of the State of Oregon and the Metro Charter, located at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, is requesting sealed bids in response to the first step of a two-step process for River Island North Restoration Project Construction Services.
Metro will use a two-step procurement method for these services. The first step of the solicitation process includes: Issuance of this Step One – Request for Bids;
Submission of sealed Step One bids from qualified firms;
Evaluation of the Step One bids received; and
Determination of acceptable Step One bids based upon the criteria set forth in this request.
Issuance of the Step Two – Request for Bids will be to those firms selected as a part of the Step One bid process.
Sealed Step One bids are due by 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2016, in Metro’s business offices at 600 NE Grand Avenue, Portland, OR 97232-2736, Attention: Sharon Stiffler, Metro Procurement Services, RFB 3105 STEP ONE.
Solicitation documents can be viewed and downloaded from the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) at http://orpin.oregon.gov/open.dll/
A mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Metro, 600 NE Grand Ave, Portland, Oregon on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. Only those attending the Pre-Bid Conference may submit a bid. Interested sub-contractors are also invited.
Metro may accept or reject any or all bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.
