NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Lake Oswego Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chamber located in Lake Oswego City Hall at 380 A Avenue on Monday, February 22, 2016, 6:30 p.m. The Commission will consider LU 16-0001, a request from the City of Lake Oswego for text amendments to the Community Development Code (CDC) for the purpose of implementing the Lake Grove Village Center (LGVC) Parking Management Plan (PMP).
During the planning work for the 2008 LGVC Plan, parking was a topic of great interest and concern. As a result, one of the key action measures identified in the LGVC Plan was the completion of a district-wide parking management plan. At its December 14, 2015 work session, the Commission reviewed the draft LGVC PMP. One of the key implementation strategies in the PMP was to draft and adopt text amendments that would help ensure adequate on and off-street parking requirements for new development or redevelopment within the unique circumstances of the LGVC Overlay District.
The proposed text amendments to the Lake Oswego Community (LOC) Development Code are to the following sections: LOC 50.03.002-2 Commercial Use Table; 50.03.003 Use-Specific Standards; LOC 50.05.007 Lake Grove Village Center Overlay District; and LOC 50.06.002 Parking.
A copy of the proposed amendments is on file in the Planning & Building Services Department at City Hall. Since the time allowed for public testimony is limited, you are urged to review the record and be thoroughly familiar with it if you plan to testify.

Recommendation: A final recommendation of the Planning Commission shall be forwarded to the City Council. A final decision on this proposal will be made by the City Council.
