Qualifications due: November 2, 2016
@ 3:00 pm
The City of Vancouver (the City) is seeking responses from qualified firms/individuals for consulting services to assist in the development of the City’s Diversity, Inclusion and Cultural Intelligence Initiative. These services include but are not limited to reviewing and assessing the City’s work environment, current policies and practices and developing a vision, goals, framework and implementation plan to attract and leverage diversity in staff. This will be used to create policies, programs and services that meet the diverse needs of the workplace and community. In addition, the City is seeking an assessment of current competency gaps and recommendations for training and other tools to identify and address systemic barriers and develop a framework for continuous improvement. Additionally, the assessment will assist the City in identifying and understanding contemporary standards/practices evident in culturally intelligent organizations and perform a gap analysis that delineates gaps between the City of Vancouver’s current state and the “desired state.”
