Salem Systemwide Led Upgrades

INVITATION TO BID: SALEM SYSTEMWIDE LED UPGRADES SALEM, OR Bids due: November 22, 2016 @ 2:30 pm The Contracts and Procurement Manager of the City of Salem will receive sealed bids at the Contracts and Procurement Division, 555 Liberty Street SE, Room 330, City Hall, Salem, Oregon 97301, between the hours of 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 1 p.m.-5 p.m., but not after 2:30 p.m., (Local Time) Tuesday, November, 22, 2016, at which time said bids will be publicly opened and read in the Public Works Conference Room 325, City Hall, for the project specified herein. Electronic bids will not be accepted. WORK DESCRIPTION: The project consists of replacing the high pressure sodium lights on utility poles and light poles in the City of Salem with LED Luminaires. The successful licensed electrical contractor shall have experience and qualifications in installing streetlights on utility poles in compliance with the applicable requirements of OSHA, OPUC Safety Rules, the NESC, and/or NEC by Qualified Workers as described in 29 CFR 1910.269. PROCUREMENT DOCUMENTS: Bidders may obtain these bid documents by registering on the Oregon Procurement Information Network (ORPIN) website and downloading them. Bidders shall consult the ORPIN system regularly until closing date and time to avoid missing any notices. To register on ORPRIN go to The City shall advertise all Addenda on ORPIN. Prospective bidders are solely responsible for checking ORPIN to determine whether or not any Addenda have been issued. Bid documents will not be mailed to prospective bidders.
