INVITATION TO BID: MERIDIAN CREEK MIDDLE SCHOOL PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT WILSONVILLE, OR Bids due: December 15, 2016 @ 2:00 pm 1.01 NOTICE TO BIDDERS Sealed Bids and First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Forms will be received by Anthony Vandenberg, Project Manager of West Linn Wilsonville School District, at the District Operations Center, 2755 SW Borland Road, Tualatin, Oregon 97062, until 2:00 p.m. local time, December 15, 2016, for public right-of-way construction of the Meridian Creek Middle School Public Improvements project. The bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids will be returned, unopened. General Contractors will be required to submit a First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form within the time frame indicated below. 1.02 BIDDING DOCUMENTS The work for this project shall be executed under a single general construction contract including General, Civil, Traffic, Electrical and Landscaping work for the Meridian Creek Middle School Public Improvements project. The work consists of construction of public roadways and Right of way improvements in the City of Wilsonville including portions of Advance Road, Boeckman Road, new 63rd Avenue, new Hazel Street and a fully signalized inter section located at Wilsonville Rd/Stafford Rd/Boeckman Rd/Advance Road. Work includes: 1. Construct roadway improvements including full-depth reconstruction, widening, pavement cold-planing and overlay, curbs and sidewalks. 2. Install storm drain system, culverts and water quality facilities. 3. Install sanitary sewer system. 4. Install potable water system. 5. Install traffic signals and associated communications system. 6. Install illumination. 7. Install conduit and vaults. 8. Install signing and striping. 9. Install landscaping and irrigation system. 10. Perform additional and incidental work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Bona fide General Bidders may obtain two (2) sets free of charge and plan holders will also have access to digital documents after 2 p.m. November 14, 2016, at Willamette Print and Blueprint; 3461 NW Yeon Ave., Portland, OR 97210; (503-223-5011). Should a bidder wish additional sets or parts of sets, he may obtain them by paying the cost of the reproduction thereof, plus handling and mailing costs, with no refund for the additional sets or parts thereof. No interest will be paid on bid security. Return or retention of bid security shall be subject to the provisions of ORS 279.031. 1.05 DISCLOSURE FORM All contractors, pursuant to ORS 279.027, are required to complete Document 00 43 50 – First-Tier Subcontractor Disclosure Form under the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. The completed form must be received at the District Operation Center Offices within 2 hours of the Bid time and date.
