NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND COMMENT PERIOD ON CITY OF BEAVERTON’S CONSOLIDATED ANNUAL PERFORMANCE AND EVALUATION REPORT (CAPER) FOR PROGRAM YEAR 2015/2016 The City of Beaverton has prepared the 2015 CAPER report as required by federal regulations. The report details project accomplishments as well as expenditures throughout the period of July 1, 2015 through June 30, 2016 for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. The purpose of the report is to measure to what extent the jurisdictions are meeting priority needs, goals and strategies as outlined in the 2015-2020 Consolidated Plan. The CAPER report is available for review and comment and can be downloaded from the City’s CDBG web site at: http://www.beavertonoregon.gov/307/CDBG- Housing-and-Community-Services A 15-day public comment period on the report begins on Thursday, December 22, 2016 and runs through January 9, 2017. A public hearing on Tuesday, January 10 will be held to receive comments on the CAPER. The hearing will also be an opportunity to accept public comment on housing and community development needs in the city. The hearing will take place at City Hall in the Beaverton Building, located at 12725 SW Millikan Way, in the Fanno Creek Room on the 1st Floor. The public hearing starts at 12:00pm.
