NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE OF HEARING: On WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 18, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers of the Beaverton Building, located at 12725 SW Millikan Way, Beaverton, Oregon, the City Council of the City of Beaverton will consider public comment on the following land use actions in accordance with the adopted rules of procedure. CPA2016-0001/ZMA2016-002, MURRAY/CORNELL AFFORDABLE HOUSING LAND USE AND ZONING MAP AMENDMENTS. This proposal is to amend the City Comprehensive Plan Land Use Map and Zoning Map to designate two parcels and adjacent right-of-way that is being concurrently annexed into the City of Beaverton with City land use and zoning designation. The properties are addressed as 812 and 822 NW Murray Blvd, and are identified as Tax Lots 0300 and 03500 in Washington County Assessor’s Map 1N1 33DB. The properties are currently designated Washington County TO:RC land use and zoning. This designation will change to the plan map and zoning that most closely approximates the existing County zone designations, as required by the Urban Planning Area Agreement, which, in this case is Town Center – Multiple Use (TC-MU) Zoning and Beaverton Town Center (TC) Land Use Designation. Specific criteria for the Comprehensive Plan Map Amendment are contained in Section 1.5.1 of the Comprehensive Plan. The specific criteria for the Zoning Map Amendment are contained in Development Code Section 40.97.15.4.C. REPORTS You may review copies of the staff report and all other documents and evidence submitted in relation to these applications at the City’s Community Development Department Public Counter, located on the 4th floor of City Hall, on January 11, 2017. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday except holidays.
